Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Condopo ("we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of the Condopo mobile application, the website at condopo.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be a real, current resident of the condominium building you select inside the app, with documentary proof we can verify (key card, HOA receipt, move-in clearance, or unit door photo).
- You must not be barred from using digital services under Philippine law.
- One account per person. One account per condominium membership at any given time.
2. The Service in plain English
Condopo is a resident-only community app for condominium buildings in the Philippines. After verification, you can post updates, comment on neighbors' posts, and (as a Premium member) list items or services in the building's marketplace. The Service is intentionally building-scoped: cross-building browsing is not possible by design.
3. Account creation & security
- Sign-in is performed exclusively through Google or Apple federated authentication. We do not support phone or email/password sign-up.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Google/Apple account used to sign in.
- You must provide accurate information (display name, age range, gender, residency proof) and update it when it changes.
- You may not impersonate another person, register on behalf of someone else, or operate multiple accounts.
4. Verification & one-account-per-condo rule
- You may belong to only one condominium at a time.
- Once verified, you may move to a different building only after a 180-day cooldown from your last residency verification, or earlier with admin approval through the in-app early-move request (one evidence photo, one of five reasons, fifteen-day review window). The cooldown anchor is the date of the most recent successful verification.
- Submitting falsified verification documents is grounds for immediate, permanent suspension.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Solicit, sell, or promote illegal goods or services, regulated products without proper licensing, sexual services, gambling, or any activity prohibited by Philippine law.
- Use the home feed for advertising, promotion, multi-level marketing, or commercial recruitment. Selling and offering services lives only inside the Marketplace tab and only for Premium members.
- Spam, mass-post, automate posting, or otherwise abuse the platform.
- Attempt to circumvent the Marketplace 24-hour posting cooldown.
- Scrape, mirror, or otherwise extract data about other residents.
- Reverse-engineer, modify, decompile, or interfere with the Service.
- Upload malware, run automated agents, or attempt to access another user's account.
- Out other residents (full names, unit numbers, vehicle plate numbers) without consent.
- Use the Service to violate any other person's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
6. Your content (License to operate the Service)
You retain ownership of all content you post (text, photos, listings, comments). You grant Condopo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (only to the extent technically necessary, e.g. resizing photos for variants), publicly display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for archival copies retained for a reasonable period as required by law or for legitimate audit purposes.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to share each piece of content you post, and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights.
7. Marketplace
- The Marketplace is a peer-to-peer surface available only to Premium members. Condopo is not a party to any transaction between buyer and seller.
- Premium members may post one (1) listing per twenty-four (24) hours per account. Editing a listing does not reset the cooldown. Deleting your most recent listing voids the cooldown immediately.
- All buyer–seller communication occurs outside the app, via Viber, WhatsApp, or Messenger deep links exposed by the seller. Condopo provides no in-app direct messaging.
- Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of the goods or services offered, and compliance with all applicable laws (including BIR registration, sanitary permits, and consumer-protection regulations where relevant).
- We may remove any listing that violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without prior notice.
8. Premium subscription
8.1 Available plans
- Weekly: ₱49
- Monthly: ₱149
- Yearly: ₱999 (44% discount versus monthly)
Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by Philippine law.
8.2 Billing
Premium is sold and billed exclusively through Apple App Store In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. We do not accept GCash, Maya, PayMongo, bank transfer, or any direct payment outside Apple/Google. The transaction is governed additionally by the Apple Media Services Terms or the Google Play Terms of Service, as applicable.
8.3 Auto-renewal
Premium subscriptions auto-renew through your Apple or Google account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel auto-renewal directly in your Apple ID or Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
8.4 Refunds
Because all purchases flow through Apple or Google, all refund requests are governed by their respective policies and processed entirely on their platforms.

Condopo cannot directly refund Apple/Google purchases. If you encounter a billing problem we have caused (for example, an entitlement that did not unlock after a successful purchase), please contact dpo@condopo.app and we will investigate.
9. Moderation, suspensions & termination
- We may remove any content, suspend your account temporarily, or terminate it permanently at our reasonable discretion if you violate these Terms or applicable law.
- You may report content or accounts inside the app via the ... menu on any post, listing, or comment. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
- You may close your account at any time via Settings → Help Center → Delete account, or by following the instructions on the Delete Account page.
- Suspensions revoke active sessions and prevent further posting, listing, or commenting until the suspension period ends or is lifted.
10. Building Admins (where applicable)
Some buildings may have a designated Building Admin authorised to post building-wide announcements. Building Admins do not represent Condopo, do not act on Condopo's behalf, and are not employees of Condopo. Their announcements are user-generated content marked with a special badge for clarity.
11. Intellectual property
- The Service, the Condopo name, the "Medallion C" logo, the visual design, and all software, content, and materials we provide, are owned by Condopo or our licensors and protected under Philippine and international intellectual-property laws.
- You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes consistent with these Terms.
- Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual-property rights to you.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
Condopo does not endorse, verify, or guarantee any user-generated content, listing, transaction, or claim made by another user. You interact with neighbors at your own risk and are responsible for exercising your own judgement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Condopo, its directors, officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, the aggregate liability of Condopo for all claims arising in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or (b) PHP 5,000.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Condopo and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from any third-party claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your content, (b) your use of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
15. Business transfer (M&A)
In the event of a sale, merger, acquisition, reorganisation, bankruptcy, or comparable corporate transaction, your account and personal data may be transferred to the successor entity only if you have explicitly opted in to the optional "business-transfer" consent during sign-up or in your privacy preferences. If you have not opted in, we will provide a thirty (30) day window to delete your data before any transfer, in line with Section 19 of the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
16. Changes to the Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app and on this page at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the proper courts of Makati City. The parties hereby waive any objection to venue or forum non conveniens.
18. Severability & entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Condopo concerning the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understanding.
